- The Beginning
-
In life, there are many beginnings that seem to trap
us if
we don’t recognize their purpose. As an emotional being,
trapped in my thoughts, I have often fallen short of
important goals. I did not understand what the universe
was telling me. A little old man, whom I will call Brother
Jack, once said, “Sanity is madness and the madness of
all is to see things as they are and not as they should be.”
It took months for me to grasp what he meant, but as
life would have it, I started to understand through my
dreams, goals, and failures. From birth to death, life is
a series of beginnings; some good, some not so good, but
just the same, they are beginnings. The first steps I took
as a child, until I learned how to ride a bicycle, learned to
skate, and later in life, to drive a car. I think back to my
first sexual experience, until the day I was told I was the
father of a six-pound baby girl, until my first marriage,
having three more daughters, going through a divorce,
having another daughter; getting married the second
time and gaining a son. The beginnings happen with or...
- God Ain't Santa Claus
-
During life, there are many visual deceptions, fantasies and
misinformation
that miss-informed us about the attributes of God; the
reality of God and his principles. We have somehow confused God
with Santa Clause. God, in his grace and mercy, has become a butler
and house cleaner to wait on us whenever we feel the need to call on
him. We have become emotional junkies when it comes to our spiritual
beliefs; God, know doubt, is the master creator of every thing in the
universe, but some how, we as humans have gotten off track. We look
to a microwave God, who answers prayer on demand. Much like Santa
Clause; we believe that all it takes, is to do the right thing and we are
safe, but when the weather is stormy, we crap out, and blame God for
not being there for us. Santa, on the other hand, gives you every thing
you want when you are good, and we are starting to look to God the
same way in some instances. Every experience I have had since God
clean up my life has been one of growing pains along with the joy of
discovery. I found out that I must pray and meditate like everything
depends on God, and work like every thing else depends on me. In
other words, I cannot expect God to do every thing and I sat back
and wait on the joy of the work he has performed. {God is truly not
Santa Clause}. The e focus of this book is to share some of my spiritual
experiences on this subject, and to you to some of my friends who have
been instrumental in the writing of this book.
{Get ready, we are going to embark on a spiritual ride}...
